Opening up the game the Generals scored with Tony Belle working the ground game, putting Lee up 7-0 in the first quarter. The running game sped the clock along and the Generals were on the march when the 2nd Quarter started. The Generals then took it in on the ground with a Derron Martin run for 9 yards. The extra point attempt failed making the score 13-0. Not to be out done Quarterback Derek Jones took the ball to the air connecting with a 16 yard touchdown pass to Tyrique Thomas with under a minute left in the half.
The second half saw much less scoring as the Generals spread the love to the players on the sideline giving opportunity to some of the younger players. Late in the fourth Quarter Coach Small decided to give the seniors opportunity to finish out their careers, where senior Quarterback Josh Middleton connected with senior Rayshun Jones for a 72 yard gain up the Generals sideline. A few plays later Middleton connected with Davonte Johnson for a 25 yard touchdown to cap off a 99-yard drive. The failed two-point conversion left the score 26-0 to close out the game. After the game Coach OJ Small expressed pride in how the seniors stepped up this season and were leaders on a team that improved on a 4-6 record a year prior to 7-3 this season.
